KAYCYY SPEAKS ON NEW PROJECT AFTER B.I.B.L.E APPEARANCE

After working with Kayne West on Donda and teaming up with Fivio Foreign for multiple songs on his debut album B.I.B.L.E,  KayCyy announced he now wants all eyes on him and revealed he’ll be dropping a new project on Sunday (May 22) titled Get Used To It.

The Kenyan-American rapper dropped a cinematic trailer to announce the project and revealed the EP’s cover art on Instagram. Joey Bada$$ notably took to KayCyy’s comments to show his support, simply writing, “Let’s gooooo.”

KayCyy recently got another massive co-sign from Nicki Minaj, who praised the rapper for his work on Fivio Foreign’s “On God” and “Hello.”

“Kayccy is [fire] on both of his songs,” she wrote on her Instagram story.

KayCyy recently linked up with Fivio for the latter’s visual accompaniment, starring in the single’s music video with Chlöe and Fivio.

Get Used To It comes after KayCyy dropped an album called Up & Downs in 2021. Prior to that, he dropped off his debut project Patient Enough in 2020, which included appearances from Lil Baby and the late Lil Keed.

In an interview with Complex and more KayCyy said his next batch of music will be louder and bigger than whats come before.

“Stadium sounds. Big shit. That excites me,” he told the outlet. “And weird sounds that are going left more than right. Like, ‘What’s that? What did I just hear?”’type shit. Those are the kind of sounds that I’m going for, more than just regular hip-hop. I mean, I’m still going for those, but even those sound different now. It’s more energy-driven, and more fun.”
