Rashawnda Scott the owner of a life-changing brand called Pieces of Kandakes was established in May of 2019 in Chicago, Illinois which She later moved to Minnesota. She sell luxury jewelry for women at an affordable prices, which she started this business to empower women through jewelry.

Jewelry is a way that can express confidence, originality, strength and culture. Giving women the power to express themselves through their unique style, Pieces Kandakes has hosted 2 free Women Empowerment shoots and had the opportunity to be a vendor at 60 plus events that directly impacted the community. They were awarded "Startup Business of the Year '' at the Black Business Ball 2021, featured on Fox 9 News, Voyage Minnesota magazine and a host of podcast episodes pertaining to Self Care and Women Empowerment.
